Yol Valley
The Narrow valley is named after Lammergeier in Mongolian Yoliin Am, due to Lammergeiers living in this Valley. Lammergeier is the rare species of bird that only lives in Central Asia, which lives over 1500-3000 meter high, wings are 2.5-3 meter long, build the nest over 1700 meter high, fed by dead animal and bones. Yol valley is located in Gurvan Saikhan National Park, one of the nine wonders of Umnugobi province and National Protected area. The Valley is about 2800 meter high above sea level, covers an area of 64 square km, 8 km long. In the middle of the valley has a small river flows, in the winter the valley is covered by the ice. Some parts of the valley, where there is no sunlight, has ice a year around. The year when it rains a lot, the valley has 4 waterfalls in the summer. While walking between the valley, the sky looks like a narrow blue stripe.
