Tsagaan Suvarga (White Stupa)
Tsagaan Suvarga, which is called Mongolian Grand Canyon located in Ulzii soum, Dundgovi province. It is 156 km away from the Dundgovi Province, 420 km away from Ulaanbaatar. Ancient ocean benthal, clayey bottom has been broken over the time that formed the bank and scarp, which looks like stupas, buildings and ruins from far. This looks to the east so you can’t see Tsagaan Suvarga from the west. The height of the scarp is around 60 meters and continues for 400 meters long. The ravine is 90 degree vertical. After watery rain, the water flowing from the Tsagaan Suvarga looks like a huge waterfall. Watching the sunrise from Tsagaan Suvarga, will make you feel like you are diving into the shining, colorful rainbow.
